Mataro, or Mourvèdre, is an aromatic red grape from the Rhone Valley. Its bright red fruit and old world aroma, paired with crisp acidity, make for an excellent rosé. This one hails from the Landa Vineyard just east of the town of Sonoma, at the base of the southern end of the Mayacamas mountains. The bubbles add an exciting mouthfeel and make this a fun wine to sip in the summer, over the holidays, or in celebration.
